Social Work ServicesEach member of the Social Work Therapy Team has undertaken extensive training with the Expressive Therapies Institute of Australia in both Expressive Therapies and Sandplay and Symbol Work Therapy. These modalities are used with children, teenagers and adults to assist them to work through psychological and environmental difficulties which appear to be preventing them from moving forward and meeting their goals in a positive way. The range of techniques may include transpersonal psychology, relaxation and meditation, expressive writing and journal work, body focus, bio energetics, art therapy, sandplay and symbol work. Identifying a child or adults strengths and resilience are important components of Expressive Therapies based practice. Solution Focused, Strengths Based and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy are also incorporated into our therapeutic work with children and adults. These frameworks enable us to assist children and adults to focus on planning and setting goals on what they would lke to address whilst working with us. We use St Luke's Innovative Resources to assist our clients in planning and then in mapping their progress. we believe this helps them to adopt positive changes that are helpful and sustainable. We offer a number of group work programs for children which help build self esteem, resilience, empathy, communication skills and create a positive sense of Self. Our women's group work programs are dedicated to promoting women's positive self image, emotional wellbeing and their abilities to adopt new self care strategies to help them make long term changes. Fees for Therapy, Workshops and Supervision: Individual Counselling and Therapy 20 to 30 mins $60 50 to 60 minutes $110 90 minutes: $165 Relationship and Family Therapy 60 minutes: $120 90 minutes: $175 Parent and Foster Carer Workshops 2 hour workshops: $45 per person. Professional Supervision Individual: 50 to 60 minutes $121. Group supervision: $150 per hr. 10% GST applies to professional supervision for individuals or groups. Services funded by community agencies and government departments also incur GST of 10%. .
