Power of One on Childhood Hero Day

Childhood Hero Day. Today. What makes you a hero for kids?

The power of one does. One person can, and does, make a difference. One person standing up for one child builds that child’s faith, safety net and creates protective resilience for future. One person! Yes, the power of one can be the most effective tool in the positive therapeutic outcome for kids who have been abused.

Become a hero against child abuse

Be the power of one. If every person who visits this blog, today donates just one dollar to the Australian Childhood Foundation for the Childhood Hero Day then a message is sent about how powerful and strong community is.

One person, one dollar. Give a damn, give a dollar. Now. Do not leave this site thinking you’ll come back. You won’t and you know it. We all lead busy lives and we could all use a hero from time to time. Be the change, be the power, be the hero. Our kids need you because kids don’t have super hero powers and they don’t have the finances to make things better. We do.

What makes you a hero for kids? The power of one does.

Donate your one dollar here.

Happy Childhood Hero Day to you both K and A.
It is Rebekah’s birthday today and I wrapped her present up in a childhood hero cape. It looked FANTASTIC and the cape ties made for a very swish bow.

I’m hoping that I get to donate on behold of other bloggers - come on bloggers, use the power of the blogosphere to raise consciousness and funds for the Australian Childhood Foundation.

Be safe in Sydney Keran and don’t freeze.

    Hey everyone
The winter day in Sydney was not too bad! However I have been rugged up whilst strolling in Parramatta with one of my dearest friends! I am pleased to hear that Rebekah has become a caped woman crusader! You rock Rebekah! Happy birthday, another year wiser…

I look forward to finding out how the Childhood Hero Day went for the Australian Childhood Foundation.

    Take care
